| 6
And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you
must continue to live in obedience to him. 7 Let your roots
grow down into him and draw up nourishment from him, so you
will grow in faith, strong and vigorous in the truth you
were taught. Let your lives overflow with thanksgiving for
all he has done. Colossians 2:6,7

Does Your Love Rock
The World?
by
Nikki Jourdan
"Does your love rock the world? How can you tell if, indeed, you have
the kind
of love that transforms lives for the better? It is certainly within
your capability, and it should be the distinctive trademark of every
Christian."

We want to help Christian women reach beyond the context of
their
reality
to be a blessing; it’s the key to
living victoriously! Wherever you are in life--whatever stage,
you have everything you need to make a
difference in the lives of others.
We all must stretch beyond our circumstances
and immediate circles of family and friends
to give something of ecumenical value to those who are seeking or
may not know Christ at all.
If we will make the most of the many
opportunities we have to uncommonly extend love each day,
we can impact the world in a grand way.
No one can do what you do the way you do it.
The way you’ve triumphed over obstacles, the way you’ve succeeded
despite all the odds, the way you’ve rallied the courage to use
adversity as a stepping stool for change, all through the power of the
Holy Spirit. Your testimonies are your light. Share them! Share
them with the many sistas--young, old, and in between--who need to hear
that through it all, they can make it and be the best they’ve ever been!

Your Thinking |

It’s simply an extension of the service that you’re currently pursuing
for the kingdom of God. The only difference is that our Council of
Directors and other members are praying fervently that as you put this
creed into action through faith, it will absolutely place you in the
position to realize your purpose in the will of God and to receive the
earnest desires of your heart.
Ephesians 4:4-6, 16
4 We
are all one body, we have the same Spirit, and we have all been called
to the same glorious future. 5 There is only one Lord, one faith, one
baptism, 6 and there is only one God and Father, who is over us all and
in us all and living through us all.
16 Under his direction, the whole body is fitted together perfectly. As
each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so
that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.
Verse 6 says “As
each part does its own special work….” No one can do
what you do the way that you do it! Our hope is that as you pray,
“Father, please grant unto me the opportunity to speak a life-changing
word into the life of another….” that your commitment won’t stop
there, but that you will endeavor to meet someone's needs according to
the will of God. Our prayer is that the Father will grant you the
stewardship opportunity that is directly linked to your purpose, and
that you are able and equipped to hear, recognize, and receive the
directives of the Holy Spirit. |
Faced
with our current reality most of us can scarcely comprehend the extinct
to which our mentality can either keep us in a vicious cycle of one
dilemma after another or thrust us into the infinite overflow of
extraordinary blessings. God has internally anointed us to walk in
the fullness of life as whole and complete spiritual beings, but the
reality of that can’t be fully manifested unless we change our thoughts
to line up with our internal reality. Renewing our minds to the word of
God as Colossians 3:9-10 admonishes is the process of training
our thoughts. It’s the practice of
putting on the mind of Christ second by second, minute by
minute, day by day. It requires us to change entrenched thought
patterns—some of which we may not realize exist and others that are
contrary to God’s will.
