Dear Heavenly Father,
This world desperately needs prayer. Romans 8:22(NLT) tells us, “For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.” We are witnessing this in real time, Father. All of creation is in pain and waiting for Your people to rise up and take their rightful place as Your sons and daughters. For far too long, we have lacked confidence in the power and authority that Jesus Christ made available to us. We have not prayed as powerfully and as much as we should, and everything within the earth is crying out to be freed from the darkness and evil of satan. Father, please help us to open our eyes, and to fulfill our purpose so that Your agenda moves forward in the earth.
Heaven is our home, but we are here on earth to reign and have dominion as we do Your Will. Our mission is to carry forth the work of Jesus Christ and to do all things in his powerful name. Thank You for giving us Your only begotten Son. Thank You for letting him show us the way to please You and to worship You in spirit and in truth. Please help us to walk in the example of Jesus Christ, and when we are persecuted for his name’s sake, please send Your angels to our defense, so that evil is conquered. Thank You for canceling out the plots and tricks of the enemy against us.
Right now, Heavenly Father, we pray for those that don’t know You and don’t know Your Word. They don’t know Your unfailing love, that You love them unconditionally and stand at the door of their hearts, knocking, waiting for them to let You in through Jesus Christ. For those that refuse to know You, please Lord, forgive them and help them to come into a knowledge of Your wonderful Son. Please help them to turn away from their wicked ways and lean totally on You.
This is a time of unrest, and people have forgotten the reality that only You hold tomorrow. You are the One in charge. Father, please have mercy on us all, and forgive us for our sins. We repent for all the things we’ve said, thought, felt, and done that were contrary to Your Word and Will. We turn from our wicked ways and seek Your face in the name of Jesus Christ. You are Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. You are intelligent beyond intelligence, glorious beyond glory, and magnificent beyond magnificence. We are so privileged to be able to call You, “Daddy”. Please take care of us through Your precious Spirit, and shield us from all hurt, harm, and danger as we cling to You like an infant does to its mother. We pray this prayer in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
