You Are Enough to God

God Sees the Christ in You

You might be dreaming about the man you’ve been praying to meet, but have you thought about how much more eager God is to spend time with you? There’s no pretense with Him. You don’t need a rehearsed line or a practiced smile. God wants you just as you are—messy mornings, tired nights, all of it. He wants you to know that from the moment you wake up to the moment your head hits the pillow, you are enough.

Genesis 1:26 (NLT) says, “Then God said, ‘Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us…’” You were designed in His image. Nothing about you needs a do-over. The world will scream at you to fix your nose, smooth your hair, reshape your body, or hide what it deems imperfect—but God isn’t looking at any of that. He’s looking at your heart. Who are you when nobody’s around? Who are you when the world isn’t watching? That’s the you God sees—and that’s the you that matters.

Faith That Anchors Your Identity

Hebrews 11:1 (NLT) says, “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” Faith means trusting God even when you haven’t yet met the man you hope to marry. It’s believing in His timing, His plan, and His way of doing things—even when your desires feel urgent. Before you chase the man of your dreams, faith calls you to know God first—to walk closely with Him, trust His guidance, and let Him shape your heart. Too many women want the man first and think they’ll circle back to God later—but it doesn’t work that way. God’s Kingdom comes first. Period.

The husband you pray for isn’t where your journey with God begins—he’s the result of it. He’s the finish line of a path that starts with seeking God first and trusting His guidance. Psalm 25:4 (NLT) says, “Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow.” The road to a godly marriage—and the blessings that come with it—begins with walking with God. When He is first in your life, everything else—including the husband He’s already chosen—falls into place.

Loving God with an Uncompromising Heart

Meet God in that sacred place where He’s first in your heart. Let Him be the heartbeat behind every decision, every desire, and every step you take. He wants the love in your heart for Him to be uncompromising and complete. When you want Him more than anything else—including the man you dream of—you are stepping into your destiny. You are tapping into the real you, into that oneness with Christ that is fully convinced: you are enough.

Prayer

Dear Father God,
Strip away every lie that whispers I’m not enough. Teach me to love You with a heart that is whole, undivided, and uncompromising. Let every choice I make, every prayer I lift, and every step I take flow out of oneness with Christ. I choose You above everything—above my desires, above the man I dream of, above all else. As I study Your Word, anchor me in Your truth so that I know deep in my soul that who I am in You is already enough.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, I pray, amen. ■
